As we reflect on this season in anticipation of what God will do next year, I am in awe of how God has used the process of writing to build me. Personally, as I look back, gratitude fills my heart for all that God has done for me and through me and for this wonderful community here on substack.
Can I be candid with you for a moment?
This year, I embarked on my first writing series, "Forget The Former Things But Remember," with some doubts.
I initially launched this platform to support students facing challenges in their university journey, drawing from my own experiences. However, earlier this year God intervened, redirecting my purpose to steward His words for you.
Although, I had the words, I questioned if I was certified or skilled enough to share them. Nevertheless, I took the leap, encouraged by a mentor from a community platform I'm fortunate to be part of - thank you Pastor Kika Ashanike.
This year has been both exhausting and exhilarating for me. I hope each post has served as a source of inspiration for you throughout the year.
As mentioned earlier in my 2022 gratitude post, I emphasise once more: all 70 of you subscribed to my mailbox aren't mere numbers; you're God's precious children and It's a privilege to share the gift of encouragement with each of you. Thank you for lending me your ears, sharing the posts and commenting.
To this year’s writers:
Thank you for catching this vision and taking your time to share your stories of hardship, hope , resilience and triumph with us. We know that “God can” with others because “He did” with you:
John Ikiebe
Precious Ojo
Tyra Commey
Florence Jimoh
Thank you to the amazing editors:
Angelina Owusu
Grace A
You both made carrying this vision lighter and I don’t take your help for granted.
As the new year approaches, I wanted to proclaim God's promises over you:
“May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.”
-Numbers 6:24-26 NLT
I anticipate the work that God will accomplish through this platform in 2024 by His grace.
Remember, Hope does not put us to shame!! (Romans 5:3-5)

I am grateful for the gift that you are to many. May the Lord continue to bless and inspire you 🙏
